About

I set up bfit2 in 2009 to provide effective personal training that is tailored towards achieving the goals of clients. I’m a fully qualified personal trainer and hold a REPS Level 3 licence with The Register of Exercise Professionals. My goal is to inspire and develop a lasting interest in health and fitness with my clients and achieving the sense of fulfilment that comes as a result of regular and effective exercise: seeing the results, making it work for them and helping people to realise their goals.

There are three elements to health and fitness upon which I place much importance upon when devising a programme for a client posture, nutrition and exercise. My aim is to ensure that my clients meet their goals, and enjoy their training in the process. So whatever your goal, I can help you achieve it!

As a mother of two young sons I appreciate the challenges faced trying to juggle commitments and have firsthand knowledge of getting myself back into shape following the arrival of children. I can bring the benefit of these experiences and help you to make exercise and healthy-eating an important part of your daily life.

I have taken part in many challenges over the years where I have had to push myself both physically and mentally: I have reached the summit of an 18,000 ft volcano in South America, cycled across the Andes, completed a number of road races and events (including 10k, half-marathon and triathlon events). I completed my first marathon in 2010 which was a huge achievement for me given my history of knee problems. I am currently training for the Great South Run.
